Cytec Announces Price Increases on Liquid Coating Resins in Europe, Middle East and Africa

Brussels – 18th March, 2011 - Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT), and its affiliated companies, announced today to its customers that it is increasing the selling prices of its polyurethane dispersions, alkyd, acrylic and epoxy coating resins in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Depending on the grade and the product family, a price increase ranging between EUR 0.15 /kg and EUR 0.30 /kg will be applicable on all shipments as of 4th April 2011, or as contracts allow.

This price increase is necessary to compensate for the increase of key raw materials and freight.
