Cytec Introduces New Bonding Primer
at JEC Europe
Water-based, manufacturing-friendly
primer provides exceptional performance
March 11, 2013 – Paris, France –Cytec Industries
Inc. (NYSE: CYT) is introducing BR® 252 bonding primer at JEC
Europe 2013 on March 12 – 14 at the Porte de Versailles
Exhibition Center. BR 252 is a one-part, corrosion-inhibiting,
modified-epoxy bonding primer. The product is specifically
formulated to meet emerging environmental, health and safety
standards for aerospace manufacturing materials. It provides
excellent adhesion and corrosion protection.
BR 252 bonding primer is a water-based
formulation that meets OSHA and REACH emissions regulations for
Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). It provides mechanical
properties equal to that of solvent-based primer systems. It is
compatible with most 121°C - 177°C curing adhesives and has a
wide curing window and long out time. BR 252 is insensitive to
varying spray-booth conditions. This product enables
manufacturers to realize greater processing flexibility.
