About Field-Applied UV Coatings at Upcoming Industry Events
Woodland Park, NJ – March 9, 2010 - Cytec Industries Inc.
(NYSE:CYT), a technology leader in UV/EB coating resins,
announced today that Dr. JoAnn Arceneaux will present on field
applied UV coatings at two upcoming events.
The first presentation is part of the American Coatings
Association’s Virtual Learning Series. The presentation is
entitled “Field Applied UV Cured Coatings”. This webevent will
briefly introduce the basics of UV curing and its use in field
applied settings. Three different UV curable field applied
applications will then be discussed: topcoats for wood flooring,
topcoats for vinyl composition tile (VCT) flooring, and sealers
and topcoats for concrete flooring. Finally, several UV cure
processing and formulating variables and their effect on coating
performance will be presented. The webevent will take place on
Thursday, March 11 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm EST. To register for

The second presentation is entitled “Field Applied UV Cured
Topcoats for Wood”. This presentation will take place at the
Piedmont Society for Coatings Technology’s March meeting on
Tuesday, March 9 from 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm EST.
