Cytec Announces Price Increase on Amino Resins in the Americas

Woodland Park, NJ – March 8, 2012 - Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE: CYT) and its affiliated companies announced to its customers a selling price increase on its CYMEL^® amino resins sold in North America and Latin America. The increase will be up to US$0.10/lb for high solid mixed ether amino resins and US$0.12/lb for conventional butylated amino resins. It will be effective for shipments on or after April 1, 2012 or as contracts allow.

Cytec is committed to servicing and delivering value to its customers, however this price increase is necessary to compensate for the increase in raw material costs.
