Cytec Promotes its Alumina
Processing Technologies at TMS 2012
Woodland Park, NJ – March 6, 2012 – Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:
CYT) will showcase its Alumina Processing technologies at the
TMS Annual Meeting & Exhibition, March 11 – March 15, in
Orlando, FL. Cytec will promote its revolutionary solution to
the problem of sodalite scale in the Bayer Process. MAX HT®
550 sodalite scale inhibitor prevents sodalite scale formation
and accumulation in liquor heat exchangers and inter-stage
piping. Also, Cytec will highlight its range of CYFLOC™ red mud
flocculants which give high settling rates and a significantly
reduced suspend solids in settler overflow and also allows
difficult bauxites to be processed economically.
