2013 Innovation Awards
March 5, 2013 – Woodland Park, New Jersey – Cytec Industries
Inc. (NYSE:CYT) is a sponsor of the JEC 2013 Innovation Awards
taking place during JEC – a composites trade event and technical
conference in Paris, France March 12 – 14, 2013.
JEC’s Innovation Awards Program honors companies for their
excellence in developing composite solutions. Dr. Carmelo Lo
Faro, Vice President of Technology will also give a short
presentation during the awards ceremony about the innovation in
composites technology and its relative youth as a discipline.
He will also present awards to two of the winning entries.
“Increasing composites’ capabilities will involve further
advances and combinations of technologies to meet the
performance, design innovations, higher throughput rates and
cost requirements of the next generation of applications,” said
Carmelo LoFaro. “We are honored to support this event and
its mission of innovation in composite solutions.”
Visitors can learn more about Cytec’s composite materials and
associated businesses by visiting the exhibition space located
at Porte de Versailles Hall 1, Stand G25. The stand will
feature Cytec’s state-of-the-art prepreg and resin systems
including CYCOM® and MTM® out-of-autoclave products and PRISM®
resin infusion systems as well as premier vacuum bagging
consumables for aerospace and industrial markets. These
products support the industry’s need to meet increased rate
requirements of next generation applications. Also
featured are SURFACEMASTER® advanced surfacing films and the BR®
non-chromate, water-based primer.
Cytec’s Coating Resins business, located in Hall 1, Stand E3,
will also feature its advanced radiation cure and gel coat
technologies at JEC Europe. Cytec’s Coating Resins
business is part of the October 2012 announced divestiture to
Advent International. JEC Europe attendees can learn more
about Cytec’s material and process technologies at the Cytec
Industries booth in Hall 1, Stand G25.
