Cytec to Promote Its Liquid
Coating Resins & Additives and Powder Coating Resins at the
Middle East Coatings Show
Brussels, March 4, 2010 - Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT), a
technology leader in coating resins, announced today that it
will be present at the upcoming Middle East Coatings Show taking
place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
At booth D5, Cytec will highlight products of its innovative
product portfolio of Liquid Coating Resins and Additives, and
Powder Coating Resins.
At the show conference, Jean-Pierre Chevillotte, Technical
Leader for Liquid Coating Resins and Additives, will present “Waterbased
one-pack coatings for corrosion protection”. This paper, which
will be given on March 29 at 2.30 pm., reports on the
development and performance of a new cationic, epoxy based
binder. This new technology fills the gap between 1K coating
systems such as modified alkyds or acrylics, which are suitable
for corrosion category C3 and 2K epoxies covering C5.
During the Exhibitor Business Presentations at MECS, Cytec will
give a technical paper about "Cytec's New Developments in
Outdoor Powder Coating Resins". This presentation will be given
on March 31 by Uwe Kubillus, Senior TS&D Representative EMEA for
Powder Coating Resins. His presentation covers Cytec's recent
technology developments in standard and superdurable systems for
outdoor applications, fast-cure or low-bake systems as well as
TGIC-free One-Shot Matte technologies.
