Price Increase for Aero MelamineTM

West Paterson, NJ, Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT)
announced today that it is increasing the price of melamine
crystal by $0.05 per pound ($0.11/kg). The increase will be
effective 4/1/2007 for all shipments of melamine sold within the
NAFTA region.
The Company cites improving North American demand as a
contributing cause to this increase.
