Cytec Announces Price Increase for AEROSOL ^® Surfactants in Europe, Middle East and Africa

Brussels – February 28, 2011 - Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE: CYT), and its affiliated companies, today announce to its customers a selling price increase on all AEROSOL^® surfactant products sold in Europe, Middle East and Africa. This strategic decision to maintain the sustainability of this business will result in a significant, double-digit price increase for AEROSOL surfactants.

This will be effective on all shipments from March 15th, 2011, or as contracts allow.
