Cytec Announces Price Increase
for Powder Coating Products in North America
Woodland Park, NJ – February 26, 2010 - Cytec Industries Inc.
(NYSE: CYT) today announces a price increase in North America on
all powder coating products; including CRYLCOAT®,
ADDITOL®
and MODAFLOW®.
The increase will be US$0.07/lb and applied to products shipped
on or after March 15th, 2010, or as contracts allow.
This price increase is necessitated by the continued escalation
in the cost of major raw materials used in the production of
polyester powder resins.
