Cytec to Promote Leading Fumigation Technologies at
GEAPS Exchange EXPO 2013

Woodland Park, NJ – February 19, 2013 - Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE: CYT) will promote its fumigant technologies and products at the upcoming 2013 GEAPS Exchange in Louisville, KY February 24^th – 26^th.

Cytec’s fumigant products provide consistent, safe and easily controlled phosphine concentrations that maximize the protection of sealed storage facilities from harmful insects and pests. The company’s innovative technology makes it a global leader in stored-product protection.

Cytec’s family of cylinderized phosphine products, include non-flammable ready-to-use ECO₂FUME^® fumigant gas as well as VAPORPH₃OS^® phosphine fumigant for on-site blending with ambient air, offer critical performance and safety advantages over traditional fumigants for food, and non-food applications. These cost-effective products eliminate direct contact with the chemical and confined space entry, they generate no waste or residues, reduce flammability risk and deliver exceptional dispersion and penetration qualities for a wide range of commodities. They are easy to use and provide the ability to quickly achieve precise control of phosphine concentrations within minutes or hours rather than days. This ability makes them the only EPA approved phosphine product with a 24-hour fumigation period.
