Price Increase of Polyester Powder Resins and Additives in Asia Pacific

Shanghai, China, February 19th 2010 – Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE: CYT) announced today that the price of its CRYLCOAT™ polyester powder resins and ADDITOL™ additives will be increased by US$0.07 – $0.125/kg in Asia Pacific. The increase will take effect on 22nd February or as contract terms permit. This price adjustment is to offset the escalating cost of one of our key raw materials.
