Cytec Announces Price Increase for Energy Curable Monomers, Oligomers, Photo initiators and VANCRYL^® acrylic resins in Americas

Woodland Park, NJ – February 19, 2010 - Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE: CYT) today announces a price increase in the Americas on all Energy Curable Monomers, Oligomers and Photo initiators as well as VANCRYL acrylic resins. The increase will range from 4 to 14 percent depending on the product family and will be effective for shipments on or after March 15th, 2010, or as contracts allow.

This price increase is necessitated by the continued escalation in the cost of raw materials including, but not limited to, acrylic acid, acrylic esters and polyols.
