Cytec to Lead Technical Sessions
at The Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration 2012
Woodland Park, NJ – February 10, 2012 – Cytec Industries Inc.
(NYSE: CYT) announced today that it will exhibit and present its
expertise in the Mining and Metallurgy industries at the
upcoming 2012 SME Annual Meeting in Seattle, WA February 19 -22.
Cytec representatives will be at the show to discuss and share
the company’s recent innovations from both their Mineral
Processing and Solvent Extraction businesses. D.R. Nagaraj
will chair the International Symposium on Water in Mineral
Processing on Wednesday February 22nd. In addition, the
company will present the following papers:

Metallurgical Characterization – Case Studies with Pb/Zn and
Cu Ores”, by T. Bhambhani and D.R. Nagaraj.

“Ore-Derived
Changes in Water Quality”, by M. Vasudevan, T.

Cytec is also
pleased to announce that Rajesh Raitani, Applications Engineer
with Cytec, has won the “Outstanding Young Scientist Award”.
Rajesh will also be chairing the Industrial Minerals and
Aggregates Division: Innovations in Process Technologies for
Industrial Minerals on Monday, February 20th.
