RESYDROL™ AY 6150 Alkyd Emulsion
A Versatile Water Borne Coating from Cytec
Mumbai, India – February 9th 2011 – Cytec Industries Inc.
(NYSE:CYT) will introduce RESYDROL™ AY6150 low VOC (volatile
organic compound) one-component core-shell alkyd emulsion, a
simple formulation that is remarkably versatile in its
capability as a top coat, primer and monocoat, at the Paint
India Outreach Conference in New Delhi on 19th February 2011 by
Mr Satish Jain - Technical Service & Development Manager, Cytec.
Satish Jain elaborated, “Cytec’s RESYDROL™ AY6150 is a water
borne coating that provides high gloss, fast drying with a good
balance of corrosion resistance and weathering. It is
well-suited for direct-to-metal (DTM) light industrial and
medium duty coating systems.” Satish added, “It is Hazardous Air
Pollutants (HAPs) free and has less than 100g/l VOC which helps
formulators to comply with the most stringent global VOC
compliance regulations. Its performance is comparable to solvent
borne systems.”
