Cytec Announces Price Increases on its
Crosslinker Resins in the Americas

Woodland Park, NJ – February 8, 2013 – Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT), and its affiliated companies, announced today to its customers a price increase for its Crosslinker Resins sold in the Americas.

The off-list prices of all CYMEL®, CYREZ® and AEROTEX® products will be increased up to $0.10/lb. Also, both list and off-list prices will be raised up to $0.20/lb. on all PHENODUR® phenolic resins, ALNOVOL® phenolic resins and ALPEX® cyclized rubber resins.

The adjustment will be effective for all shipments as of March 8, 2013, or as contract terms permit, and is in addition to any previously announced price adjustment.

The announced changes are necessary to offset increases in feed stocks and raw materials. Cytec remains committed to servicing and delivering value to its customers.
