Cytec Announces Price Increases on its
VANCRYL® Resins in North America

Woodland Park, NJ – February 8, 2013 – Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT), and its affiliated companies, announced today to its customers a price increase for its VANCRYL® Resins sold in North America.

The selling price of VANCRYL® grades will increase by the amounts outlined below:
                 Liquid grades                                               $0.05 per pound
                 Solid grades                                                 $0.11 per pound.

The adjustment will be effective for all shipments as of March 1, 2013, or as contract terms permit, and is in addition to any previously announced price adjustment.

The announced changes are necessary to offset increases in raw materials. Cytec remains committed to servicing and delivering value to its customers.
