Cytec Announces Price Increases on UV/EB Curing Resins in Europe, Middle East and Africa

West Paterson, NJ, February 8, 2008 – Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT) announced today to its customers that it is increasing the prices of its entire range of specialty UV/EB curable acrylates in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

The price increase will be 5 % and will be applicable on all shipments on or after March 15, 2008.

This pricing adjustment is necessary to partially absorb major inflation in energy, transportation and raw materials prices.

Cytec is limiting the price increase to ensure continued competitiveness of the UV/EB curing technology and remains committed to servicing and delivering value to its customers.
