Cytec Announces Price Increase on all Energy Curable Monomers, Oligomers, and VANCRYL^® Acrylic Resins, Solutions and Emulsions

Woodland Park, NJ – January 11, 2011 - Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE: CYT), and its affiliated companies, today announce a selling price increase on all energy curable monomers, oligomers and VANCRYL® acrylic resins, solutions and emulsions sold in the Americas. The price increase will range from 3% - 27% depending on product family. Included in this increase are: Acrylated Monomers, Epoxy Acrylated Oligomers, Urethane,Acrylated Oligomers, all other Oligomers, and VANCRYL^® acrylic resins.

These increases will be effective for shipments on or after February 1, 2011 or as contracts allow.

Cytec is committed to servicing and delivering value to its customers, however this price increase is necessary to compensate for the increase in raw material costs.
